I’m Robert Bartlett, the proud owner of The Tax Shop Inc.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me a bit better.

To be honest, I sort of just fell into accounting. I remember taking accounting at high school and I was fascinated with how all the parts work together to create a set of books. This was furthered when I discovered the inner dynamics of tax returns. After completing my education, I went to work at a midsized Toronto CA firm working my way to a senior manager position. The role enhanced my accounting acumen and propelled me to take on executive roles in various industries.

After a few years, I realized that public accounting was where I belonged. Bringing my knowledge and experience to assist small and medium-sized businesses. 

I strongly believe that what sets me apart is my ability to listen to clients and honestly provide workable solutions at fair prices. I have always tried to treat people how I would expect to get treated.

As a result, we help clients minimize tax and get the most from their businesses.

When I’m not working with clients, I love to play golf, travel, and spend quality time with my family. I also like to get involved in my community as a former director of the Brampton Board of Trade and a life member of the Brampton Excelsior Lacrosse Club.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things that matter to me and how they influence how I do business.
